A bee and honeycomb, mixed media sun-catcher, crafted from wood and a variety of art glass, using a technique known as copper foiling. The wood is coated with a varnish to protect it from the elements. Suitable for indoors or outside.
This is an original design, created by me (Claire). A lot of love, time and attention-to-detail goes into every piece that I create, for you to enjoy. Glass art is my passion and I try to reflect this through the quality of my work. I use specialty machine rolled art glass for all of my creations, from brands such as Wissmach, Spectrum, Oceanside Glass and Bullseye.
The beauty of art glass is that every piece is unique in colour and texture, especially wispy and streaky glass. Therefore, no two glass creations are completely identical and the appearance of your order may vary slightly from the images you see here on Etsy.
